Nora Ruth (Baker) Branson, daughter of Dr. Jesse Wheelock Baker and Lillie Michaud Baker, graduated from Maine General School of Nursing in 1936. She married Dr. Sidney Robert Branson, of Portland, Me. Dr. Sidney Branson was a practicing physician in South Windham, Me., before serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.
